Old Dominion Humane Society (ODHS) is now opening its doors on Sundays, an additional day to check out the cutest rescues. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the public is welcome to meet the dogs at the facility, visit with them and adopt forever friends. Adoption events, as always, are also on Wednesdays from 5-7 p.m., Fridays from 6-8 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“Being open on Sundays will give more people the chance to come in on an additional day to meet the many rescue dogs available for adoption,” said Chrissy Blake, ODHS founder. “We have the youngest rescues on the puppy side, the smaller dogs in Little Dog Land and the rest of the dogs on the main side of the facility. The public is welcome to visit with the dogs and find out more about them from the volunteers.”
