Stop by Old Dominion Humane Society’s (ODHS) booth during Spotswood Baptist Church’s Third Annual ‘Driven to Stop Addiction’ event in Fredericksburg from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 15. The rescue dogs, which are available for adoption, will mingle with guests and pose for photos. ODHS will also provide information about fostering, volunteering and donating to help the nonprofit, no-kill organization.
“Driven to Stop Addiction” is a car, truck and bike show that “welcomes anything with a motor, frame and wheels.” The family-friendly show includes awards, vendors, foodand drinks, and admission for spectators is free. Proceeds will be donated to the Zoe Freedom Center in Fredericksburg. Zoe Freedom Center works to empower individuals who are seeking to break free from addiction.
“ODHS is proud to participate in this event, and we’ll have the most adorable rescue dogs there to greet the public,” said Chrissy Blake, ODHS founder. “Many of the rescue dogs come from situations that include mistreatment, neglect, hoarding and overcrowding in shelters. Visit the ODHS booth and meet some of our rescues who will be happy to get pets and attention.”
Spotswood Baptist Church is located at 4009 Lafayette Boulevard in Fredericksburg. Visit Upcoming Events for event details.
