Take A Hike...Or A Stroll
Have you been looking for an easy way to join a rescue? Are you interested in getting some exercise or spending more time outdoors? Do you like meeting great people who have a love for animals?
Old Dominion Humane Society has two great options for you!
Our Saturday Strolls are with smaller dogs, cover a shorter distance on more even terrain, and are slower-paced. The Sunday Hikes are with medium to large dogs, cover 3-5 miles on variable terrain, and are faster-paced.

There is no need to preregister! Just meet us at Old Dominion Humane Society at the scheduled time. We'll pair you with a dog who will travel in your car to where we will start our journey. The destination changes from week-to-week, but is generally within a 15-minute drive. See our Upcoming Events calendar for dates and meeting times.
